Serious bicycle repair doesn't have to cost serious money!

Bartering system or cash....what works for you?

Trade/Barter ideas:

Playstation 3 games/accesories, iPod stuff, BluRay movies, bike related equipment/accoutrement.

Or, do you have?... other fun gadgets, bike repair tools, a professional service of your own?? One of my favorite barter-jobs was done for gourmet coffee!

If you don't have anything to barter, I am willing to accept cash. The prices are extremely LOW so you can stay on the road - one less car!

Parts (Replacement/Upgrade/Conversion):

Should your bicycle require parts of any kind; here's what we can do:

• You can buy them and bring them with you

• I can retrieve them for you at no cost above the actual price tag at the shop. I am at a bike shop almost everyday anyway, so its no trouble at all.

Non-Barter Prices:

I am willing to do as much or as little as you want/need. But for a frame of reference; these are labor rates and include all shop supplies like grease and lube etc...

• $10 for a full tune up servicing that includes proper adjustment of brakes, derailleurs, headset, bottom bracket, degreasing the chain and lubing.

• $50 for a complete overhaul that includes all of the above plus your bike is virtually disassembled, cleaned, and all of the bearings are repacked/greased and your wheels are trued.

• Just need a wheel trued?..$10 per wheel.

• I can convert your multi-speed bike to a singlespeed or fixed gear for only $50.
